    Applications are now open for Cohort 3 of the WomX Woman in Business Accelerator, proudly sponsored by Nedbank.

    The accelerator is designed for women entrepreneurs who are ready to strengthen their businesses, sharpen their strategy, improve their operations and prepare for their next stage of growth.

    Participants receive structured business development support from experienced technical experts, business owners and mentors with practical experience in building and growing businesses.

    A programme designed for women entrepreneurs

    The WomX Accelerator recognises that women often build businesses while navigating challenges that extend beyond the business itself. The programme combines practical business support with access to expertise, mentorship and a community of women entrepreneurs who understand the journey.

    One-on-one mentorship

    The results of the previous WomX Accelerator, documented in the WomX White Paper: Beyond the Business, demonstrate the impact of structured, gender-designed business development support.

    Who should apply?

    The accelerator is suited to women entrepreneurs who are actively running a business and are prepared to invest the time, attention and effort required to implement what they learn.

    Applicants should be ready to:

    • Participate fully in programme sessions
    • Work closely with mentors and technical experts
    • Apply new knowledge within their businesses
    • Track their progress and business performance
    • Engage with a community of growth-focused women entrepreneurs

    What happens after i apply?

    Applications close on 17 August 2026.

    Successful applicants will be contacted directly by: 

    2 September 2026.

    Selected businesses will be invited to the WomX Accelerator Launch Event in Johannesburg at the end of August. The event will provide an opportunity to meet fellow selected businesses, WomX Accelerator alumni, and members of the WomX and Nedbank leadership teams.
